Darn. Its tax month and I hate doing that boring tax return thing. That's why my Residental CFO (wife) does it for me and I love her for it.
Check out Olivier Travers, an internet marketing consultant who helps companies improve their online presences and co-founder of TaxPrinter.com. If you lost your old tax software but need to reprint a tax filing you had processed with it earlier, send the file to TaxPrinter, they'll read it and send it back to you. Sometimes you do need your old tax filings and backward compatibility isn't part of most (all?) tax software. Getting them back from the IRS is slow and cumbersome and searching through the attic and den for an elusive backup printout isn't anyone's idea of fun.
If you have your electronic federal or state tax file available, but lack the software to display or print it out, you can use TaxPrinter.com to recover that information. We support all old versions of TurboTax, MacinTax, TaxCut and Tax Act for Macs and PCs (be aware that we can only read valid files, we do not recover corrupt files).
