Its 2006 and if you don't know how to burn CDs yet, then read on.
If you’re running Windows XP Home or Professional on your computer and you have a CD Burner, you can use the integrated burning software to easily copy files to a CD-R. Insert a blank CD into your CD burner before you start this process. Find the files or folders you wish to copy to CD and simply right-click on them and select the Send To option. Here you will choose your CD-RW drive, often labeled as your D: drive.
Once the files begin copying to the special temporary folder for burning, a pop-up window will appear on the taskbar stating that you have files waiting to written to the CD. Click on that bubble and another window will open showing you the files you copied to CD. Click on the button at the top-left that says Write These Files to CD, and a wizard will appear to walk you through the process. You can choose to name the CD whatever you want (it defaults to today’s date), and then it will ask you if you want to burn to another CD when you’re done. Just click Finished when you’re done, and it will even eject the CD from the drive for you.
