Apple makes beautiful computers. The operating system is great, loads of eyecandy, good software and great performance. Apple has also started selling music online recently, a logical step after the success of the iPod. The beatles, a couple of old hippies, used to have a record label called apple corp, having an image of an apple as a logo. That label doesn't exist anymore. Still, they sue apple for using the stylish apple logo, as well as selling music : In an old agreement, apple agreed not to sell music, but stick to computers, hardware and data communication. And they did. In their defense they say they don't sell actual music, but datafiles. And they're absolutely right. I hope they win. Let the old hippies go home. Their fame will never be brought down by apple, and their label doesn't even exist anymore. Sore losers. Link : DailyTech
