Spoil The Children

100dollarlaptop.jpg
Mr Gates is against anything he can't sell. That's nothing new. The MIT Media lab has developed a $100 laptop for poor children in developing countries. Personally I think this is a crap project, although the laptop is fun and well though off (you can wind it up if you have no electricity) and runs Linux, which was one of the things that kept the price low. Kids in those poor countries need basic things for their lives, they're not going to accomplish much with computers. Bill is pissed off : the initiative was supported by Google. And as Bill can't sell Google, he hates the project and the product. Bill's a spoiled kid.
