The guys at Meebo have created some icons to let Meebo lovers spread the word about them. Its the same thing the Firefox did sometime back and it was a viral idea. I'd like to help them out as Meebo is a cool site that lets you open your various Instant Messaging programs on 1 Ajax powered website. I use Meebo everyday to open my Yahoo messenger, Gtalk and MSN IM programs and they even help me log the IM chats I have. Its one of the best Web 2.0 sites around. Nuff said.
Meebo is an Ajax instant messaging client that works with major instant messaging services. Its website allows you to log onto AOL, ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger, Jabber, eliminating the need for an instant-messaging client on the user's computer. Meebo launched a private release on September 4, 2005, and it was publicly released on September 14, 2005 and has had many major revisions since. Meebo was founded by three young entrepreneurs, who placed an emphasis on user-feedback in determining the direction of their business. On December 16th, it was confirmed that Meebo has received venture capital funding from Sequoia Capital. A possible business strategy includes selling the API to companies that want to add an instant messaging feature to their own websites.
