How on earth did Yahoo create this nifty piece of code ?
Yahoo! used the beta version of the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) to customize IE7 to meet their needs. The IEAK is available to all developers and partners who want to create their own customized versions of IE7, as well as IT pros who want to use it to ease enterprise deployment.
Yahoo version of Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 site
Update :
13 June 2006
I've just installed this new IE7 and I find it pretty sleek. The menus are gone and I have to click on a star on the left side to find my Bookmarks. It's also got a great RSS feed reader and Tabbed Browsing. You can also close tabs but just clicking on that tab with your Middle mouse button. I also love the Tab Saving features that remembers your tabs from the last session. Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 is really starting to look like my Firefox browser.
Favorites Center
The new Favorites Center makes it even easier to manage your favorite websites, your browsing history, and your RSS feeds with just a few clicks.
Phishing Filter Security
At a glance you'll see whether the site you're visiting has a valid secure sockets layer ( SSL) certificate or if there are irregularities in the certificate information. Phishing Filter™ warns you of suspicious sites that might attempt to collect your personal information.
