KeyScrambler Anti-keylogger Plugin for Internet Explorer

If you think your slew of anti-spyware, anti-virus, anti-hacking software on your PC is not doing a fine job, then here’s anotherKeyScrambler-qfx.jpg software to beef up your IT security. It’s new browser plugin for users of Microsoft Internet Explorer called KeyScrambler by OFX Software, a startup based in Ormond Beach, Florida and if you only use IE for surfing, then you better get it installed.

It works as an anti-keylogging tool as it protects all your login pages, by encrypting the Window’s user’s keystrokes at the kernel driver level, before keyloggers can record them. Now that’s ingenious provided your kernel has not already been infected with a worm or spyware.

QFX Software Corporation believes in user empowerment and has developed several innovative software programs since 2002 to help combat Internet fraud and identity theft, KeyScrambler being the latest of the company’s innovations. Because traditional anti-spyware and anti-virus programs from other vendors typically depend on having a known signature of a keylogger before they can detect and remove it, the traditional way of combating keyloggers are ineffective in that they often work after the keyloggers have already stolen the users’ information. KeyScrambler employs a radically different method that works against known and unknown keyloggers. By encrypting the keystrokes at the kernel driver level and decrypting them within the browser itself, KeyScrambler gives keyloggers only indecipherable, encrypted keys to record.

When you type in your user names and passwords, you’ll see KeyScrambler encrypting live, unobtrusively, right before your eyes, on your screen, for your peace of mind. The KeyScrambler comes in a Personal edition free for download and a Professional edition for $24.99.

Thanks for your informative article on August 22 about KeyScrambler. I'd just like to bring you up to date on one new thing: KeyScrambler now supports Firefox, so it's no longer just for IE users.

I can not see key scrambler in internet explorer 7. I have already installed it and checked my ie add-ons and it's there. I just can't see any window or icon to let me know that keyscrambler is working even as I type this post. I have already restarted my computer but to no avail.
