
BusinessWeek Online in an article called 'Small Company, Big Brand' this week , recognises Travelzoo, a global Internet media company, as a branding success. I would prefer to call it a success in the USA
as its a travel portal useful for American users wishing to travel to Europe or other overseas destinations. Non USA residents will find it less useful.
Other companies highlighted other than Travelzoo included nine other companies, like McIlhenny (Tabasco), Craigslist, Mozilla (Firefox), and Pom Wonderful. They have turned their brands into household names and defined categories, while providing a useful avenue of information outlay.
