Microsoft has decided not to use the "plus" symbol to differentiate the
version of Internet Explorer (IE) 7.0 that is bundled into Windows Vista. Microsoft officials say they listened to customers (which should be the correct case) in deciding against designating the version of the browser integrated into Vista as IE 7+.
Instead, that version now will be known officially as "Windows Internet Explorer 7 in Windows Vista," while the slightly different standalone release will be known as "Windows Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP." Now this might confuse a lot of people as too much variety may never be a good thing and taking that into effect , Windows Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP is now a High Priority Update!
