There’s some "highly critical" Firefox security updates released by Mozilla last Wednesday that patches 13 vulnerabilities and you
better update it before you surf even more on the internet. If you’ve checked the box at the Menu – Tools, Options, Advanced , Update, then this will probably be an automatic update with a notice to reboot your browser. It then brings it up a notch to Version 1.5.0.5 for 1.5xxx versions.
You can also retrieve the new updates from the Mozilla Web site in versions for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X in 37 localized editions.
Some 8 bugs for the browser tagged as "critical" by Mozilla involves vulnerabilities and/or errors in JavaScript, the scripting language heavily used by the browser. This has been the prevalent source of Firefox flaws, much similar to the case of ActiveX controls in the Internet Explorer.
