OpenVZ project has unveiled its server virtualization software for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (RHEL4), plus enhancements like designating OpenVZ virtual environments by names and ability to specify number of processors available to specific virtual environments.
The new RHEL4 kernel build even has improved support for the latest gigabit Ethernet and SCSI adapters. The OpenVZ software release also features an option to freeze a virtual environment and stores it for restoration on another server and Virtual Ethernet device support.
