
OpenVZ project has unveiled its server virtualization software for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (RHEL4), plus enhancements like designating OpenVZ virtual environments by names and ability to specify number of processors available to specific virtual environments.![]()
The new RHEL4 kernel build even has improved support for the latest gigabit Ethernet and SCSI adapters. The OpenVZ software release also features an option to freeze a virtual environment and stores it for restoration on another server and Virtual Ethernet device support.
