
Accenture, a consulting firm has announced a deal that they will use Sun Microsystems' server software in system design industries. Before the deal, Accenture's relation with Sun only extends to a reseller's point but now they will also be creating products using the very software powered Sun Microsystems' technology that they had previously resold. Several Accenture staff will also be assigned to assist Sun develop specific products tailored to Accenture's requirements, said Chief Technology Office of Accenture, Don Rippert. Some of Sun's software that will be used includes it's identity management and systems-oriented architecture softwares and the two companies look forward to further software collaborations in other areas in the future.
