A team of specialized engineers working for Borland Software called the Developer Tools Group is soon about to go independent from Borland as the two entities were seeing different target markets.
Rumor is abound that either IBM or Oracle may be taking over the team, judging by their main focus on IDE (Integrated Development Environment). Borland has now set aside researching IDE and is looking into ALM (application life-cycle management). Borland's partners are glad to know that the entity will now be more easier to connect with off and on sites compared to last time where they were segregated between the development tools group and a life-cycle management group.
