New Email Security Tools from ISS and Declude

2 product rollouts this week shows that email security products are adding more features in fewer hardware boxes to save space and make it more manageable. Declude launched an email security package with antivirus, antispam, and email flaw detection while ISS' has its new Proventia Network Mail Security System in a hardware gateway.

An interesting thing about Declude is its proprietary approach, called Security Flaw Scanning, looks that looks for for structural flaws in email messages, says Dave Barker, director of product management at Declude.
