Looks like every vendor is having problems with their notebook batteries and users are getting really fedup with the inconvenience. I think every vendor from Dell to Panasonic should include SASE
bags with their laptops as this battery problems are getting pretty viral. After the DELL battery fiasco that had man sites showing off notebook explosions, we have Panasonic recalling batteries for their Let's Note CF-W4G notebooks. There's about 6000 batteries involved and Panasonic has failed to disclose the manufacturer of the batteries. Losers indeed.
Japanese laptop firm Matsushita has recalled 6,000 batteries because of fears that they will overheat. The Panasonic-branded Let's Note CF-W4G notebook is the subject of the recall, which comes following much bigger recalls from Dell and Apple caused by faulty batteries made by Sony. Matsushita has declined to identify the manufacturer of the batteries, a decision which has been criticised by industry commentators.
