It's not easy to do business nowadays. With increased outsourcing and cost cutting measures out there, even big corporates are trying to slash global competition. According to UK internet telephony
provider Inclarity, by using internet-based telco solutions, small and medium-sized enterprises can save between 20-40 per cent of their communications bills. One such solution is their IP Centrex – a hosted internet-based telephony centre, two separate voice and data networks are merged into one single converged network.
The thechannelshow reports:
Inclarity announced this week that the number of small-medium sized enterprises switching from traditional telephony to internet-based call services has rocketed by 750 per cent in just 12 months. The rapid rise is due to raised awareness of internet protocol (IP) telephony amongst SMEs, increased demand for flexibility and improved ease of use. Researchers at Ovum estimate that the number of IP Centrex extensions in Western Europe will exceed two million by the end of 2009.
