Its a new, free downloadable software tool for anyone wanting to display boring or complicated data so that it is easy-to-understand. Perfect for people who need to present data or track financial info (to budget for a wedding, college savings, travel or personal finances overall), the software, called 'CX Now!', is a 'lightweight' version of Business Objects' Crystal Xcelsius software. It helps businesspeople, parents, students, school administrators and church group leaders attractively display and explain data otherwise conveyed on complicated Excel spreadsheets, to an audience.
Within minutes, executives, analysts, instructors, and students can use CX Now! to create interactive charts and graphs of trends and projections, audience-friendly presentations of complex data, and dynamic dashboards that display multiple business variables. Users can create presentations with visual components such as 'sliders', which enable them to analyze 'what-if' scenarios and predict how their decisions could impact performance. Moving a slider on the screen modifies the underlying spreadsheet data and the results are immediately displayed within the presentation.
Right now they are having a CX Challenge with a $10,000 grand prize that ends December 12th, 2006. They will choose the three best business dashboards or data presentations from entries submitted.
