In a nostalgic event, Google Inc has bought the garage address that has started the Google Empire rolling. Thanks to Google co-founders Larry
Susan Wojcicki, now Google's vice-president of product management, sold the 177-square-metre home in nearby Menlo Park to the Mountain View-based company for an undisclosed sum. She had rented it out for US$1,700 per month last time because she wanted some help paying the mortgage.
Google did not reveal the address in case it became a hot tourist haunt but I have sources confirming it to be at 232 Santa Margarita Ave, Menlo Park, CA. I hope my wife can visit it as an addition to her recent Googleplex photo collection.
