Now here's an interesting hook up. Google is going big into the business intelligence (BI) market and this is thanks to Hyperion, a market leader in in the OLAP and BI markets. This collaboration with Google might expand Hyperion's data-storage and Web-access abilities but that could be some time since its already the 4Q 2006. Specifically, Hyperion Solutions Corp. will support the Google OneBox for Enterprise, which is a part of the Google Search Appliance. Now this augurs well since its one step ahead of other business intelligence vendors since it provides but also to financial applications-business content such as the business rules, calculations, annotations and forms that enable Business Performance Management (BPM)
