Making Yahoo Email Open Sourced
Here's a shocker from Yahoo.

They are
planning to reveal the underlying code of Yahoo Mail so that more applications can be developed for it by outside companies and individuals. What ayahoo-email-beta4.jpg great idea. This is the sort thing that's spelt success for companies like Mozilla and Google Maps. Letting other people put some hack into that applications is generally going to get it more publicity and in the end, Yahoo will garner more users than its current 257 million ones.

And has anyone tried out the new Yahoo Email interface ? Its much cooler and quite fast too. This is the new interface done after the beta done on its Yahoo Photos site.

Kudos to Yahoo. Source
