In my country, everything in the consumer world is going up. Its a burden to the average worker when water, electricity, gas and toll rates go skyhigh. That sets a bad case of inflation. Everyone is expecting 2007 to be a rocky year in Asia.![]()
So how do you beat this kind of gloomy sentiment ? You will try to find someway to earn more money part time and I’ve been doing it for the past 22 months. Its been a tough journey and its really not easy to earn money from blogs. With 55 million blogs out there (see Technorati), making money from any blog is even tougher as getting traffic will be your first priority.
So what is ReviewMe ? Instead of going into a long winded discussion, here’s the main points.
1. They have a higher payout for posts, ranging from USD$20 to USD200 based on how popular the blog is.
2. Once you add in your blogs (up to 6), you can instantly see the payouts for each review that you do (ReviewMe gets 50% of the cut) and its based on how popular your blog is according to Alexa and Technorati. Payouts are done via checks and paypal.
3. Bloggers must disclose that the review is a paid advertisement. They can do this in anyway they choose, ie “The following is a paid review:” “Paid Advertisement:” etc. This is another improvement over PayPerPost, which is heavily criticized because it does not require disclosure.
4. Advertisers can purchase posts, but they cannot require that a post is positive. The blogger can choose to write their honest opinion without fear of not being paid. The only requirement is that the review must be a minimum of 200 words.
I work with other ReviewMe competitors but I think ReviewMe is now the best as their payout is the highest.
