The Microsoft team have outdone themselves and come up with a new packaging design for their upcoming Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 suite. The design is kinda "Mac"ish and looks pretty decent considering the high price tag.

Built from a small, hard, plastic container, this new packaging is designed to protect the software inside for life-long use. It provides a convenient and attractive place for you to permanently store both discs and documentation.

The new design will provide the strength, dimensional stability and impact resistance required for packaging software in today's market. Microsoft will extend this packaging style to other Microsoft products after the launch of Windows Vista and 2007 Office system. Let's hope they don't flop in the market and more at the Windows Vista blog.
