As an Internet marketer, most of the time, a simple decision that you made now can bring a lot of differences. Having a good list is good start, but what you will do with it is another story. Deciding whether to send a HTML or just plain text email for your marketing campaign can be a daunting task too.
While HTML emails are nicer to see, it usually takes longer duration to load them. And if it takes too long, it might ended up in the recipients' trashbins. This is obviously counter-productive and it's better to just use plain text at all cost.
But, if you insist on using fancy graphics and fonts, it's better to create a blog and just send a plain text email to inform your subscribers to visit it whenever you update it.
An alternative would be to allow each subscriber to select whether they want to receive HTML or plain text, but this just add more troubles on your part and you will have create two versions of each message. So, as a savvy marketer, the answer is obvious, plain text email is still the best option to go ahead with your email marketing campaign.
