Web 2.0 is about creating and mashing up softwares to come up with something innovative, so I am not surprised to see another web 2.0 site made done with widgets, called *Gritwire* to gather informations like RSS feeds from various sources and gather it in one place. Gritwire comes with a feed reader that they called as Speedfeed, it enable you to organize the feeds you subscribed into folders, read and save content, or rate feeds and feed items. It also comes with Gritcast Player, which supports mp3 and any other format that are supported by Windows Media Player and Quicktime. If you have a particular forum or blog that you intend to visit in future, then you should add them to the Quicklinks feature. Like what the name suggest, it is really quick to add a link and organize them in folders. So, in future, all you have to do, is just click on it, and the forum or blog will pop-up in a new window. Simple isn't it?
Other than that, it feature a few widgets that you might be interested at, like the weather. What's interesting about Gritwire is, it provide contact list approach to allow us share RSS feeds among friends. And this feature is definitely make your life easier if you want friends with similar reading interest to share what they are reading.
