Meebo, a web based instant messaging service has raised $9 million in the series B funding from Draper Fisher Jurveston and existing investors Seqoiua Capital. The company had earlier raised $3.5 billion in the series a funding and is one of the key players in the hotly contested web-based IM aggregation business. While the growth of the company has been impressive the issues concerning the revenues and profitability are yet to be unanswered.
