Last year Axentis was named a leader in the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) space by Forrester, touting the industry’s only software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and more than 720,000 users from Global 2000 companies. I wanted to introduce the company, offer you an opportunity to chat with executives to get an introduction and also pass along two pieces of news announced this week.

First, yesterday, Axentis announced the addition of Lorraine Fenton to its board of directors. A former executive at IBM, Fenton most recently served as vice president of information technology for IBM North America. Other positions held over her 30 year stay with IBM include CIO for North America Sales and Services and VP of quality and development operations. Fenton currently works as an independent information technology consultant to clients such as JP Morgan.

Second, today Axentis announced that Monotype Imaging has selected its Axentis Enterprise solution for managing its Sarbanes-Oxley program.  Leveraging the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, Axentis Enterprise enables companies to more quickly implement and easily manage multiple GRC requirements from one platform.
