Internet hideout for Child Pornography

Police arrive with warrant to nab a child pedophile last summer that had traded child pornography online. When they arrive, they are greeted by an elderly woman. The problem is the wireless router of the elderly women. The router is sending signalmr314_big.jpg throughout the 10 storey building.

Anyone of the residence might be taking advantage of it to upload photographs of nude children onto the internet. With so many wireless access points so easily available, internet is getting more dangerous. People logged in to check email and chat but there are some who uses it for illegal activities. Unsecure wireless connection is the haven for them. The Northern Virginia-D.C. task force has officers from local and state agency to curb and solve this problem. To date three dozen arrests have been made. Things get harder as more and more wireless devices and points are installed. Often officers trace offenders by the ip which leads to the owner of the wireless router rather than the criminal himself.
