Even before Windows Vista hits the market, there are debates going around for the requirements for Windows Vista.  512mb of RAM all the way till 4gb is discussed as well as graphic cards. Most users agree that graphic card with a full direct 9.0 support is required but for RAM, there are a lot of opinion and debate is still going on even after the release. Microsoft advertise on the box that 512mb of RAM is the minimum requirements. Users who have use Vista will recommend 1gb of RAM as the minimum. Now debates goes on that to obtain optimum performance a whopping 4 gb is required. It is said that Microsoft uses a system loaded with 4gb of RAM for its demo. For gamers and graphic designers they will think twice about upgrading to Vista. Running Windows Vista with 512 mb of RAM will be the same experience as running Windows XP with just 128 mb of RAM. Its bare requirement. Even now some PC that are marketed as Vista Capable isn’t so capable of running Vista.
