Apple’s QuickTime comes with an update which goes unnoticed for many. It enables an “Export to Apple TV” feature capable of creating high-definition videos. The feature creates a full DVD quality of 1280 x 720 pixel resolution which is commonly known as 720p. It is one of the high definition video formats apart from 1080p. Apple TV is capable of playing 720p resolution movie at 24 frames per second. This is a great announcement from Apple with an increase in its QuickTime player capability to keep up with the latest development. User will be interested in this new features as 720p resolution has a much clearer and crispier picture than standard formats. We might be seeing high definition videos more often with QuickTime ability to convert it to 720p format. Hopefully Apple will release a new update to make QuickTime even better by supporting 1080p resolution format.
