Comcast is the second largest broadband internet service provider in U.S. they are currently in talks with Microsoft’s search services on its broadband portal. It is a clear sign that Comcast is not happy with its current deal with Google. Their deal with Google runs out at the end of this year. It is reported that Comcast thinks that it should get a larger search ad rev share and it is also unhappy with other terms of the deal. Comcast is now talking with Microsoft but nothing can be confirmed yet. They might just take a U turn and renew its deal with Google on renew terms. Comcast is also looking for a 3 years deal to sell 80 percent of the advertising on its site. Negotiations are going on with Microsoft, Yahoo and AOL for this deal. It is a strategic plan to expand its other online ad revenues.
