Gadgets and search engines - Microsoft and Yahoo

There has been a number of news this time around. First it will be from Yahoo. It is claimed that if you use Yahoo pay-for-inclusion program you will get to submit a link of your choice of “Quick Links” for site listing in Yahoo organic search. Next it will be Microsoft. Microsoft has confirmed that it is offering companies to install browser help objects to measure search usage and in return they will offer service credits for deployment and training from Microsoft. Then search engines are at it again. Ask.com launches a new campaign. The funny thing is try running a search using Ask.com and you get no results whatsoever regarding its own campaign. But if you try Googling for it, you will get a handful of results. After doing some research it is found out that Ask does not support using the ‘site’ command. You will have to add in at least one more word for it to search.
