Apple had given out advice for its iPod owners to refrain from upgrading to Vista. Finally iPod owners can upgrade after Apple fix a number of compatibility issue that surrounds iTunes 7.1 and Vista. However it is still not perfect yet as there are still a number of issues with it. The worst one being the possibility of getting iPod corrupted. This might be an effort by Apple to boost sales of ipod due to competition from Microsoft Zune. Considering the amount of Pc users and the number of users that will upgrade to Vista, Apple might lose quite a number of customers if they do not offer support for Vista. It is expected that further patches to address this issue will be available soon to prevent user from giving up on iPod. Let’s just hope that Apple will find out the solution soon to satisfy all its iPod owners.
