Justin.tv is just four days old and people had already started playing pranks on it. Someone spoofed the official phone number of Justin.tv and made a police report of a stabbing case in the North Bridge apartment. As expected police arrive at the scene with guns and enter through the front door. To their surprise it is nothing like what is reported and only found a few people laying around with laptops and webcams. This was shown live to hundreds of viewers. The very next day, there was a report of fire in an apartment. The fire brigade arrive to find nothing. Future emergency calls from this number will need a confirmation before any emergency service is dispatched. Those involved are not being responsible. Many lives are lost due to prank calls. The emergency department should have more sophisticated equipments to trace the location of the caller and catch him.
