Microsoft is never going to be left behind. They seems to have an answer to almost everything its competitor is offering. The latest rumored to be a challenger to Google Apps. It does not come as a surprise as there has been rumour going around for sometime. With the launching of the Live platform, it is becoming more a reality. Seeing the potential of web base software, Microsoft will not want to be left out of the development. With its vast amount of resources they can challenge at any front. With Office being the mainstay of most computers, Microsoft might get a large portion of the online share. There are also reports saying that Microsoft and Google are marketing a slightly different type of web base applications. We will just have to wait till Microsoft launched its own web base apps before we can make any direct comparison.
