Microsoft Corp. today announced plans to launch a 512MB Memory Unit for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system. They are also planning for an increase in the official size limit of Xbox LIVE Arcade games from 50 MB to 150 MB. The memory which will be made available worldwide from April 3, 2007 onwards will retail for around $49.99. The 512MB Memory Unit will come pre-loaded with the Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved games from developer Bizarre Creations Ltd. This two new upgrades will be greatly welcome by Xbox owners around the world. It is hopeful that it will be available worldwide without any delay. Sometimes it is stated that it will be available worldwide but it will only be available in some major cities. This come at a time of great competition between Xbox 360, Wii and Sony PS3. With Microsoft and Sony both launching new advancement in their system Wii is still left behind.
