A leaked document confirms that MySpace is planning a Digg style news aggregation portal. The portal is rumoured to start in the second quarter of this year. MySpace representative will offer no comments on any of these. They prefer to keep numb. It is still unknown how the document leaked out but it might be a technical or human error that causes this. It is not unusual for MySpace representative to not comment on it as it is the company’s secret. MySpace must have realize what Digg does all along is a very profitable business. They would like to try something similar on their own to increase its users. How well is it compare to Digg remains to be seen in the second quarter of this year. If Digg feels threatened, they will still have lots of time to better its site before MySpace comes into play.
