MyYahoo! Web 2.0 makeover

Yahoo has announced a new version of its own long-running personalized homepage, My Yahoo. It will be a beta release with offer up for a limited amount of user only. They will gather feedbacks from these user and try to improve it before making itmyyahoo-beta.jpg more widely available. My Yahoo has a market base of about 50 million users worldwide. They claim that the new My Yahoo is much better and easy to use. The changes are made slowly with new features added up from time to time depending on the comments they receive. They tried to prevent a total overhaul to prevent the same backlash from user that Netscape.com or USAToday is facing. It is a new welcomed very welcome change from Yahoo which has the same My Yahoo page for quite a long time. Changes are definitely due and it couldn’t come at a better time amid competitions.
