Online advertising is one of the most confusing and messed up form of advertisements. There are all forms of advertising available on the internet. Just to name a few – pay per click, page per view and pay per action. There a lot more than this really. It depends on how the negotiation goes. In many cases pay per view ads are not getting their worth of money because the views are generated by less than a thousand people. it is somehow surprising to see people now taking into account page views and traffic. If all the users are unique then even a 10,000 figure can be consider great. The problem lies where advertisers do not know about the customer. TV and radio ads are still the way forward now. Even though some sites has offer premium charges for premium spaces in their inventory. Maybe it is still a market learning the catching up game. Let’s wait and see what it holds in the future.
