Robert Scoble is a former employee of Microsoft. He owes his reputation and fame to the three years he spent at Microsoft. He has turn back and says that ‘Microsoft sucks’ in the Scobleizer web blog which is one of the most read sources of technology commentary on the internet. He was provoked into this after a series of remarks by Steve Ballmer about Google. Scoble hits Microsoft at where it hurts most. Its Windows Live platform. Microsoft pitched its Windows Live platform as response to Google and other web base services that are available. Sadly to say it fails to make an impact they are hoping for. There are quite a lot of parties that are unimpressed with Windows Live since its launching. Its market penetration has been low with many still choosing not to use it. What is lacking in this service is an identity. Microsoft did not even try to create an identity for it.
