
ComScore has decided to add a new metric system which will serve as a guideline for advertisers, the visit. A visit measure the number of time people visit the site per day with at least 30 minutes between ach visits. They will be marketing this new online metric system which will be similar to frequency in the real world. The result however cannot be 100% perfect but it will be a good guideline for advertisers. The new system has receive a number of good comments from users though. Touted as being better than page views count, visits can record which user is frequent visitor and who are only dropping by out of curiosity. When trying to acquire an advertiser, they will be looking at this statistics and take it as a rough figure so that can decide which one they want to opt for.
