Windows face another problem today with the latest issue concerning its networking system. Researchers had said that there is a problem regarding how Windows PC obtain network settings. It could lead to attackers hijack traffic and gain all the data. Microsoft has acknowledge this problem and put up a support article. A successful attack will cause all the data to flow through the attackers proxy enabling him to access all the data, redirect and manipulate it. This problem although not considered serious, needs to be corrected quickly. Microsoft has come out with a support article for network administrators to address this problem. Although Microsoft software and system has always been the main discussion issue regarding its security and instability, they are quick to response and usually patches are made available almost immediately which is very commendable. Microsoft is still the way to go because of its great support and services.
