Windows Vista comes with a special feature in a way that all versions of the OS are in one disc. Buyers only need to purchase the license to activate the other versions. Microsoft recently announced discounted licenses for customers who have already purchase retail or OEM versions of Vista. It gives buyers 10 % discount on up to five additional Vista licenses. The catch is user are only allow to buy licenses of the version of Vista they currently own. Users of Home Premium can only buy additional Home Premium edition and in no way they can buy a combination of Home Premium and Ultimate licenses. This may be a new drive from Microsoft to spur its sales of Vista which has been dogged by requirements problems. Instability and drivers availability for Vista is also a big issue. Sales of Vista has not been particularly encouraging. High hardware requirements and availability of drivers has been the main concern for most would be buyers.
